Hubertus Schmidt ist 1. Soloposaunist der Staatskapelle Halle. Er
studierte an den Musikhochschulen in Detmold und Berlin und betrieb Studien in
New York bei Joseph Alessi, Soloposaunist New York Philharmonic. Regelmäßig
wird Hubertus Schmidt als Solist von zahlreichen Orchestern eingeladen und gibt
Duoabende zusammen mit dem Pianisten Thomas Bracht. Hubertus Schmidt
unterrichtet Posaune und Kammermusik bei internationalen Kursen und an der
Europaschule Latina Halle.
Hubertus Schmidt war als Blechbläserdozent des
Bundesjugendorchesters u.a. die Vorbereitung der Venezuela-Tournee unter
Gustavo Dudamel (Music Director Los Angeles Philharmonic) tätig.
Seit 2010 wirkt er mit bei
Soundtrack-Aufnahmen in Los Angeles (Hollywood) und ist Mitglied beim
Posaunenensemble „L.A. Trombones“ Seit
2011 ergänzen Duoabende und CD Produktionen
mit dem Klaviervirtuosen Christian Meinel seine künstlerische Arbeit.
Benedikt Bonelli ist Chordirektor und Organist der Basilika St. Lorenz
in Kempten/Allgäu. Der gebürtige Coesfelder studierte Orgel und Kirchenmusik am
MOZARTEUM in Salzburg und der Musikhochschule in Wien (Orgel bei Heribert
Metzger und Peter Planyavsky). Bisherige berufliche Stationen waren die
Karlskirche in Wien und die Pfarrei St. Martinus und Ludgerus in Sendenhorst.
Seine Tätigkeit als Solist erstreckt sich über dem gesamten deutschsprachigen
Raum.
